Conveyor Ovens

A conveyor oven – also known as an impinger oven (from the verb "impinge," meaning "to advance over an area") – is a staple in many commercial kitchens across Canada. While commonly found in pizza shops, these ovens are also used for a variety of dishes including pasta, sandwiches, and more. In fact, some kitchens rely entirely on a conveyor oven as their primary cooking appliance due to its efficiency and versatility.

The popularity of conveyor ovens comes down to two things: speed and simplicity. Just place your item on the belt, and the oven does the rest. Some larger models include a mid-conveyor access door, allowing you to remove dishes that don’t need to go the full length of the cook cycle.

We carry both countertop and floor models. Floor models are best for high-volume operations that rely on their oven throughout the day. Some countertop models are still built for heavy use, while others are better suited for lighter applications. Be sure to check the BTU or wattage – a helpful indicator of how powerful the oven is and whether it matches your output needs.

Another important factor to consider is the width of the conveyor belt. If you plan on cooking multiple items at once, go for a wider belt. If you’re making individual pizzas or dishes, just confirm the belt can accommodate the full width of each item.
