Thank you for shopping with Mega Food Equipment. We stand behind the products we sell and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund guidelines carefully.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
- Products must be in resalable condition.
- Some items, such as custom-built or special order equipment, are non-returnable unless defective.
2. Return Authorization
All returns require prior approval and a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
To request a return, contact us at support@megafoodequipment.ca with your order number and details about the product.
Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
3. Restocking Fees
- A restocking fee of 20% to 50% may apply to returned items, depending on manufacturer policies.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
4. Shipping Costs for Returns
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item was shipped in error or arrived damaged.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments.
5. Damaged or Defective Products
- If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide photos of the product and packaging to assist with claims.
- We will work with the manufacturer to arrange for a replacement or repair as quickly as possible.
6. Refunds
- Refunds are issued once returned items are received and inspected.
- Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
- We reserve the right to reject refunds for products that do not meet our return criteria.
7. Non-Returnable Items
Certain products are non-returnable, including:
- Custom-ordered equipment
- Special order parts or accessories
- Used or installed items
- Clearance, closeout, or final sale products
