Grill Brushes, Scrapers & Bricks

There are several ways to clean a commercial griddle, and the best method really comes down to personal preference. Some people prefer using a grill brick, while others like griddle screens or scrapers. Grill bricks have been a go-to for years, but some prefer scrubbers because they don’t leave behind small bits of material. Others go for scrapers to get a bit more force behind each pass and tackle stubborn buildup. It’s all about what works best for you.

The word "grill" can be a little misleading. Technically, a grill refers to something made with metal grates—like the front of a truck or an outdoor BBQ. In the foodservice world, though, the word gets used for all sorts of cooking equipment, including flat-top griddles, charbroilers, panini presses, and more. Most of the brushes and scrapers in this section are designed for flat-top griddles, but we also carry a few options that work on charbroilers and panini presses.

All of the tools we offer are commercial quality and built to handle the kind of burnt-on food you get with daily use. Some options are more durable than others and may last longer depending on the material and design.
