The 20.5" deep cooking surface is surrounded by 3.5" tapered stainless steel side and rear splashes, helping to contain grease and maintain a clean workspace. Embedded mechanical snap-action thermostats provide fast and accurate temperature response, with a control range from 200° to 450° Fahrenheit (93.3° to 232.2° Celsius), allowing for precise cooking of various menu items.
The VCRG48-T is equipped with four 25,000 BTU per hour U-shaped aluminized steel burners—one for every 12" of griddle width—ensuring even and efficient heat distribution. Safety is enhanced with a pilot safety valve for every 2 burners; this system automatically shuts off gas to both the pilot and burners if the pilot flame is extinguished.
The griddle's fully welded stainless and aluminized steel chassis frame offers outstanding structural integrity and durability. It ships ready for natural gas and includes a liquid propane conversion kit for flexible installation options.
